I have a quick question for people.

WHO THOUGHT THAT ORANGE PRE-BRUSH LISTERINE WAS A GOOD IDEA?!?!

As far as I can see in my local supermarkets, mint is the brush paste flavor of choice for 100 million consumers.

This leads me to two conclusions:

1) The idea men behind this concept don't brush their teeth.

2) The idea men behind this concept don't drink orange juice and then brush their teeth.

One could honestly claim that I have this blog simply to get attention. That may be a contributing factor.

One could honestly claim that I have this blog simply to attract iconoclastic females of hard policital left alignment (cough). That may be a contributing factor.

But here's how I see it:

I grew up HATING to write. Sentence structure, spelling, grammar beat me up after school and took my lunch money during first recess.

But then I broke my leg when I was 16, and for the longest time (at least to me and my severly truncated attention span) all I could do was either watch TV, read, or write. While my leg healed, I ground out two novellas about some interesting stories in my head. (200+ 8x11 pages; roughly 400+ paperback-sized pages.)

It was pure adrenaline.

I now have six unpublished novellas, and I still like to write.

Reason for blog achieved.
